There is a special election being held in upstate New York to replace former Republican congressman and apparent aspiring porn star Chris Lee, who lost his shirt and his seat recently. Dumb, Chris, dumb! You know only Democrats get away with moral turpitude! Obnoxious businessman Jack Davis is taking another run at the seat, and the local Tea Party groups have actually talked with him and are considering supporting him. I am appalled.
This is a man who makes the late George Steinbrenner look like Dale Carnegie, is on his past record a dirty campaigner, and who ran for the seat as a Democrat at least once that I can remember. I don't care if he can self-finance. A rich jerk is still a jerk, and we have too many of that breed in the Congress already.
Besides, in one of his first campaign ads, he said that off-shoring of jobs had caused this latest and lingering recession. Nobody that stupid should be elected to any office.
