The deranged New York state government has voted to recognize homosexual "marriage", which reminds me of an Abraham Lincoln anecdote. Legend has it that President Lincoln asked his cabinet members one day "How many legs does a horse have if you call the tail a leg?" "Five", one or more of them answered.
"No, it's four" Lincoln replied. "Calling the tail a leg doesn't make it one." Calling a homosexual union of any kind a marriage doesn't make it one. Marriage is one man and one woman, and nothing man does can change that.
New York can pass all of the laws it wants. They may recognize a right to homosexual marriage, just as they used to recognize a right for one human being to own another human being, and as they still recognize a right to murder a baby in the womb.
To borrow from the classic film Judgment at Nuremburg, recognizing a legal right under man's law doesn't make it right under God's law, and nothing on God's earth can make this right.
New York may recognize homosexual marriage, but I do not -- nor can I be made to.
