After years of demagogic attacks on President George W. Bush for giving permission for, shall we say, vigorous interrogation of captured terrorists, the American Left has stood by nearly silently as President Obama has ordered the targeted drone-strike assassination of suspected terrorists (and anyone unfortunate enough to be near them at the time). By at least one account over
2,000 people have been killed in these strikes. Naturally, a terrorist blown to rags cannot effectively be interrogated, vigorously or otherwise. Am I the only person who thinks that B.O. is having these terrorists killed to prevent their being interrogated? Think of all of the rumors surrounding Jack Ruby's murder of Lee Harvey Oswald. Many suspected that Ruby had killed Oswald to silence him. I personally don't believe it, but those suspicions endure. You see, I know very little of Jack Ruby, but I do know a good deal by now about B.O.
I believe that B.O. is preventing us from tracing all of the tentacles of al-Queda by preventing the interrogation of its traced members. These flamboyantly public assassinations are designed NOT to kill the jihad movements. B.O. knows that he can't be perceived to be doing nothing about Islamic terrorism, so he is waging the Vietnam War against Terror. He's managing to kill people while avoiding winning the war. The difference is that President Johnson meant to win his war, and President Nixon did win the war, until Congressional Democrats unilaterally repudiated our end of the peace agreement, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory to keep Richard Nixon from winning John Kennedy's war.
I can't help but wonder if we would have found out about the Bengazi attack before those Americans were killed and wounded if we had been taking prisoners for interrogation purposes.
