My employers just cheated me out of one-third of my quarterly performance budget. They did this by unilaterally changing the standards that we must meet to get the highest level of bonus to supplement our paltry hourly wages. (I am a victim of forced unionization, but the union never fights for the employees -- they just rake in the dues.) They have already "persuaded" the union to agree to give up the yearly bonus next spring. It occurs to me that I have Obamanomics to blame for this sorry situation. Since the insane budgetary policies of the Washington Democratic mob (combined with the stupidities coming out of my state government in Albany) are making it impossible for the economy to recover, and in fact are driving the unemployment rate higher, employers can cut salaries and bonuses with impunity, since with the unemployment rate at 9.5% and climbing, where can their employees go?
